Himanshu H. Shukla, M.D., specializes in treating heart rhythm disorders and is founder of C.A.I., a cardiovascular and arrhythmia institute dedicated to providing heart care customized to the individual. Dr. Shukla is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, has completed training at Columbia University in New York City, the University of Missouri and the University of Oklahoma. Christopher S. Lichtenwalter, M.D., specializes in interventional cardiology and is a member of the talented and friendly staff at C.A.I., a cardiovascular and arrhythmia institute. Amit Srivastava, MD, FACC earned his medical degree through an exclusive and accelerated B.S./M.D. program at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine as well as completed a cardiovascular diseases fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Srivastava was selected for the prestigious position of chief cardiology fellow during his final year of fellowship. Dr. Srivastava completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ where he learned both complex coronary as well as peripheral vascular disease endovascular treatment. Yasir Batres, MD is a noninterventional cardiologist. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He served his internship and residency at the University of Indiana followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of California, Davis (UCD) in Sacramento. Kristin Hoffman, PA-C Kristin Hoffman joined CAI in February 2011. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 2004. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences in August 2006. She is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
